EGC Axis Units

Festo EGC Axis Units are constructed with a profile optimized for rigidity and feature a ball-bearing guide for handling high loads and torques. The lineup includes the EGC-BS with a ball screw axis and the EGC-TB with a toothed belt axis. The EGC-BS units feature a precise, quiet-running, heavy-duty ball screw axis with a cross-section optimized for load-bearing capacity, meaning these linear actuators can often be used in a smaller size to lower costs. The EGC-BS series is designed for high repeatability accuracy with strokes of up to 3m possible, and the motor can be flexibly mounted on either side. The EGC-TB toothed belt version offers a heavy-duty, belt-driven linear actuator, and the motor can be flexibly mounted on several sides. As a dynamic linear actuator, the EGC-TB achieves high speeds even with large loads and long strokes of up to 8.5m.
