Description of Change: The following Optek semiconductor die are
being fabricated at a new wafer production line.The UEC911,
UEC925, UEC9013, and TNT929A photodiodes each have unique size
and do not have an alternate semiconductor that can be
substituted for the affected product.
Change Identification: An effective date code for the move to
the new wafer fab line will be announced after the move is
completed and Optek has completed the qualification tests.
Reason for Change: The wafer fab producing the listed
semiconductors is closing October 31, 2012.Optek has made the
decision to qualify a second wafer fab that is producing other
semiconductors for Optek prior to the closing of the former
wafer fab. This will enable the qualification of the listed
semiconductors to begin immediately.
