Displaytech RGB Backlights
Displaytech RGB Backlights feature composite Red, Green, and Blue LEDs. The three colors can be connected and turned on individually or in combination to achieve a variety of colors. Displaytech's RGB Backlights were introduced as a way to provide a splash of color and added functionality to a black and white display.
The RGB Backlights allow the user to use color as a status indicator that can be seen across the desk or across the room. Many applications benefit from this functionality when the user is not close enough to read the text or clearly see the images on the LCD.
